So, I was checking out the latest car news, reviews, and features, right? And apparently, Ford made a sneaky move with their trucks over the past couple of years. They ditched the Limited trim that used to be the top dog and introduced a new duo: Platinum and Platinum Plus. Fancy, huh?

The Platinum Plus adds an extra $6,500 to the 2025 F-350’s price tag, but here’s the kicker: you gotta get the high-output diesel engine, four-wheel drive, and a bunch of other stuff with it. Like, seriously, my test truck had almost $28,000 in optional equipment, and most of it was mandatory with the Platinum Plus package. You can keep piling on more accessories, but at some point, you’re just throwing money at it for the sake of it.

The exterior of the Platinum Plus comes with a sleek satin finish, unique 20-inch wheels, and cool add-ons like Ford’s Pro Power Onboard generator and a power sunroof. Inside, you get fancy French-stitched leather everywhere, including the grab handles. Oh, and there’s only one color option for the cabin – “Smoked Truffle” brown. Sounds cozy, right? But do you really need all this luxury in a workhorse like the F-350? Who knows, but it sure does sound nice.

I mean, who really needs a truck that can haul almost 32,000 pounds or carry close to 5,000 pounds in the bed? Not really sure why this matters, but hey, it’s good to know, right? And after loading up a pallet of concrete blocks weighing almost 4,700 pounds into the F-350, I gotta admit, that’s pretty impressive. But loading them in by hand? That sounds like a workout and a half. Kudos to anyone who can do that without breaking a sweat.

The Super Duty, as they call it, sure is a beast of a truck. It’s massive, both inside and out, and it can handle just about anything you throw at it. But with a starting price of over $80,000, you better be getting your money’s worth. And let’s not forget the size – parking this thing in tight spots is a whole other challenge. But hey, if you need a truck that can do it all, the F-350 Platinum Plus might just be the one for you. Just make sure you have the garage space to fit it in.
