Skoda has introduced two new entry-level models to its Enyaq electric SUV range, making the award-winning vehicle even more accessible. The Enyaq 50 and Enyaq 50 Edition models are now available with prices starting at £36,970. These new models are equipped with a 55kWh battery pack (52kWh net), providing a range of up to 234 and 232 miles on the WLTP cycle. The rear-mounted electric motor delivers 170PS and 310Nm of torque, allowing the Enyaq to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 9.1 seconds with a top speed of 99mph.

When it comes to charging, both Enyaq 50 models offer a peak DC charge speed of 145kW and 11kW on an AC connection. Charging to 80% on a suitable DC rapid charger will take approximately 25 minutes, while a full charge on an 11kW AC connection will take around five hours and 30 minutes. Additionally, the new 50 variants come with an eight-year, 100,000-mile battery warranty, ensuring peace of mind for owners.

The Enyaq 50 models replace the previous Enyaq 60 models in the lineup, reducing the cost of transitioning to a new Enyaq ownership by £2,000. Both models come well-equipped with features such as 19-inch Proteus alloy wheels, Loft interior Design Selection, a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment display with navigation, and various safety features.

For those looking for additional features, the Edition models include full LED Matrix beam headlights, full LED rear lights, heated front seats and steering wheel, privacy glass, Crew protect assist, front and rear side airbags, and a central interaction airbag as standard. The Edition model also boasts tri-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and cooled wireless charging (15W).

The Enyaq range now starts at £36,970 for the Enyaq 50, while the Enyaq 50 Edition is priced at £38,585. The lineup has been streamlined to include the Enyaq 85 Edition, Enyaq 85x Sportline Plus, Enyaq 85 L&K, and the range-topping Enyaq vRS, all of which are equipped with a larger 82kWh (77kWh net) battery pack.

With these new additions and updates to the Enyaq lineup, Skoda is aiming to make electric vehicles more accessible to a wider range of consumers while offering a range of features and options to suit different preferences and needs. The Enyaq continues to be a strong contender in the electric SUV market, combining efficiency, performance, and affordability in a stylish package.
