Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America, acknowledged the outpouring of support for the Wrangler 392, stating that the Jeep community was not ready to bid farewell to the iconic vehicle. As a result, Jeep has decided to continue production into 2025, with the new models set to roll out in the first quarter of the year.
While some may question the decision to prolong the Wrangler 392 Final Edition’s lifespan, it is not unprecedented in the automotive industry. Stellantis, Jeep’s parent company, has previously faced legal challenges over similar moves, such as extending the production of limited-run vehicles like the Dodge Durango Hellcat. The 2025 Wrangler 392 Final Edition will retain its impressive features, including the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine delivering 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. With an eight-speed automatic transmission, the Wrangler 392 can accelerate from 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds and cover the quarter mile in 13 seconds. Additionally, the vehicle will come equipped with a half-inch suspension lift, rock sliders, a grille guard, a Warn winch rated for 8,000 pounds, and special hood and fender vent decals.
Inside the Wrangler 392 Final Edition, drivers will be greeted by black Nappa leather seats with gold accents, adding a touch of luxury to the rugged vehicle. As with previous Final Edition models, special badging will distinguish these limited-run vehicles from their predecessors.
