Volkswagen has just released new models of their ID.7 electric cars in the UK, making long-distance electric-only journeys more convenient. The ID.7 Pro S Match and ID.7 Tourer Pro S Match are now available for sale, each equipped with a larger battery and faster charging capabilities.
The new Pro S Match models come with an 86 kWh battery, which is bigger than the 77 kWh battery found in the regular ID.7 Match versions. This upgrade results in an impressive WLTP pure electric range of 437 miles for the fastback model and 425 miles for the Tourer model. Additionally, these Pro S Match models can be charged at up to 200 kW DC, allowing for a quick top-up from 10 to 80 percent battery capacity in just 26 minutes.
Despite these enhancements, the new models still offer the same luxurious features and equipment that current ID.7 drivers appreciate. The spacious boot space remains unchanged, providing up to 1,586 and 1,714 litres of storage in the fastback and Tourer models, respectively, when loaded to the roofline with the rear seats folded down.
