The 2025 Ford Bronco lineup is expanding with a special edition inspired by the iconic Stroppe Baja Broncos from the 1960s and ’70s. This new Bronco Stroppe Edition is based on a two-door Wildtrak model, but it features a unique tri-tone livery that pays homage to its vintage predecessors. While Ford has not disclosed the price or production numbers for the Stroppe Edition, interested buyers can expect it to hit the market in January.

The Ford Bronco has always been a vehicle rooted in nostalgia, with a design that appeals to fans of classic off-road vehicles. Following the recent release of the vibrant Bronco Free Wheeling package, Ford is now introducing the 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition. Named after the legendary Bill Stroppe, who was renowned for preparing factory-built Broncos for intense off-road competitions like the Baja 1000 and NORRA Mexican 1000, this special edition is a tribute to his legacy. Ford proudly mentions that a Bronco modified by Stroppe emerged victorious in the Baja 1000 in 1969, making it the only stock 4×4 to achieve such a feat. The unveiling of the Stroppe Edition is a fitting way to honor this remarkable history, especially following the return of the Bronco R to the Baja race in 2020.

The design of the Bronco Stroppe Edition is sure to turn heads wherever it goes. Its color scheme, reminiscent of the original models, now features Atlas Blue, Oxford White, and Ford’s exclusive Code Orange paint. The distinctive Stroppe badging on the front and rear fenders, along with the squared-off wheel arches, adds to its rugged appeal. The white grille adorned with “Bronco” in Code Orange, the matte black hood and tailgate, and the steel front bumper with Code Orange tow hooks further enhance its bold aesthetic. The vehicle is equipped with black 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, completing its off-road-ready look.

Under the hood, the Bronco Stroppe Edition packs a punch with a 330-hp 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The vehicle is equipped with a disconnecting front anti-roll bar, 35-inch Goodyear Territory RT tires, and the HOSS 3.0 suspension featuring Fox internal-bypass dampers. Additionally, it comes with side steps that double as rock rails for added protection during off-road adventures.

Inside, the special edition Bronco boasts a white dash panel with Code Orange accents, matching the exterior details. The G.O.A.T drive-mode selector, grab handles, and stitching on the dashboard and seats also feature the distinctive Code Orange color. The center console sports a “Stroppe Edition” badge in front of the cupholders, adding a touch of exclusivity to the interior.

While the pricing and production numbers of the 2025 Ford Bronco Stroppe Edition remain undisclosed, Ford has confirmed that it will be available for purchase starting in January. Car enthusiasts and off-road aficionados alike can look forward to experiencing the legacy of the Stroppe Baja Broncos in this modern-day tribute to a legendary era of off-road racing.
