Lotus has recently unveiled the 2025 Emira sports car, which has been updated with new features and enhancements. The Turbo SE model, in particular, stands out with its more powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine, upgraded brakes, and stiffer suspension compared to the standard Turbo variant. Priced at $209,990 plus on-road costs, the Turbo SE offers an impressive 298kW of power and 470Nm of torque, allowing for a quick 0-100km/h acceleration time of 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 293km/h.
In addition to the Turbo SE, the 2025 Emira range includes other variants such as the base Turbo and the V6 model. The base Turbo, priced at $199,990, comes with upgraded brakes, new 20-inch silver wheels, Emira Turbo badges, restyled pedal covers, and a ‘technical fabric’ interior headlining. On the other hand, the V6 model features new badges, ‘technical fabric’ interior headlining, cross-drilled and ventilated two-piece brake discs, Goodyear tires, Touring suspension, and a limited-slip differential for manual versions.
Lotus has also introduced new color options and design elements for the 2025 Emira range. The Turbo SE comes with 20-inch forged satin grey wheels, a Zinc Grey paint finish, Alcantara interior headlining, red brake calipers, and black exhaust tips, among other features. The base Turbo now comes in Vivid Red paint, with standard features such as black brake calipers, black leather interior, power-adjustable front seats, ‘Touring’ suspension, and Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport tires.
Moreover, Lotus mentions a new “audio option” for select variants, although details about the sound system and availability are yet to be confirmed. The Emira continues to be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG, delivering 268kW of power and 430Nm of torque for a dynamic driving experience.
