Introducing the 2026 BMW M2 CS: A Sneak Peek

So, you know that feeling when you just can’t wait to get a glimpse of the latest and greatest from BMW? Well, if you’ve been itching to lay your eyes on the 2026 BMW M2 CS, then today is your lucky day. Even though BMW hasn’t spilled all the beans yet, they recently revealed this sporty compact coupe to the public at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2025 at Lake Como last Friday.

The M2 CS is basically the upgraded model for those drivers who crave a little extra performance and aggressiveness compared to the standard M car. If we take a trip down memory lane, the last M2 CS had an extra 40 horses under the hood compared to the 2020 M2, so we’re pretty pumped to see what this new version has to offer. With the base 2025 M2 already boasting 473 hp (a bump up from the original 453 hp), we’re expecting the new M2 CS to surpass the 500 hp mark.

What’s really cool about this new model is that it’s more street-friendly than the M2 Racing model we saw earlier this year. While the M2 Racing is all about shedding weight and enhancing on-track durability, the M2 CS is designed to dominate on the road. Besides the eye-catching ducktail spoiler, the M2 CS sports a set of sleek mesh wheels with a light bronze finish, giving it that extra touch of style. The front bumper intakes have been adjusted for better airflow, improving overall performance. Inside, you’ll find the classic “CS” embroidery on the center console and door card, along with BMW’s iconic M colors adorning the front seats. As for the rest of the details, we’ll have to wait until next Wednesday to get the full scoop. Stay tuned for more updates!
