I’m Victoria Scott, a Staff Writer at Motor1, and I’m excited to share my latest adventures in capturing vintage cars on film on the streets of Seattle. After realizing I was neglecting my health and well-being by sitting at a desk all day, I decided to make some changes in my routine.

To break free from restlessness and anxiety, I now wake up at 5:00 AM every day and go for walks around Seattle. These walks have become a way for me to stay present, appreciate the beauty of the city, and get some much-needed movement into my day. Carrying my Nikon F4 with me has been a game-changer, as it allows me to stay engaged with my surroundings and capture some amazing shots along the way.

In addition to my Seattle adventures, I recently took my F4 to the Indy 500 and was pleasantly surprised by the results. Even with just one roll of film, I was able to capture some incredible moments at the race. This experience has inspired me to continue pushing the boundaries of my film photography, including experimenting with a medium-format camera for an upcoming automotive shoot.

While shooting on 6 x 9 cm film can be expensive and challenging, I’m excited to see where this new creative endeavor takes me. In the meantime, I’ll continue my morning walks in Seattle, keeping an eye out for unique and interesting cars to photograph. Stay tuned for more film adventures and vintage car sightings coming soon!

Overall, my journey of capturing cars on film has not only improved my mental and physical well-being but has also opened up new creative possibilities and exciting opportunities for growth. I can’t wait to see where this passion for film photography takes me next.
