Kia has introduced its new 2025 model, the K4, as a replacement for the outgoing Forte. The K4 comes with a starting price of $23,145, which is $2000 more than the 2024 Forte. Despite the price increase, the K4 remains an affordable option in today’s competitive new-car market.
The base LX trim of the K4 includes features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and four USB-C ports. Moving up to the LXS trim for an additional $1000 will upgrade the wheels to dark gray alloy and add rear cross-traffic collision avoidance. The EX trim, priced at $25,145, offers 17-inch black alloy wheels, a larger digital gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a wireless charger.
For those looking for a sportier option, the GT-Line trim is available for $26,345. This model features a multi-link suspension setup, steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, 18-inch wheels, a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, and Kia’s Highway Driving Assist system. All of these trims come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable transmission.
If you want more power, the GT-Line Turbo model, priced at $29,245, offers a 190-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four engine. This model includes full LED lights, faux leather seats, air vents for rear passengers, and an eight-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
The Kia K4 is set to arrive at dealerships in September, with the GT-Line model expected to be available in November. The GT-Line Turbo will be released in early 2025.
