Honda recently announced the lease pricing for the all-new 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV, which is America’s first production plug-in hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle. The compact CUV will be available in California starting July 9th, offering customers three competitive lease options to choose from.

The most popular option is expected to be the 3-year/36,000-mile lease for $459 per month, which also includes $15,000 of fuel credit for hydrogen refueling during the lease term. This lease pricing is based on an MSRP of $50,000, with no purchase option available.

The 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV boasts an impressive 270-mile EPA driving range and features an all-new U.S.-made fuel cell system with plug-in charging capability. This allows for up to 29 miles of EV driving around town, with the added flexibility of fast hydrogen refueling for longer trips.

In addition to the competitive lease pricing, the CR-V e:FCEV lease options include up to 21 days of access to a rental vehicle from Avis while in California, 24/7 roadside assistance, and eligibility for California’s Clean Air Vehicle Stickers for single-occupant HOV access.

The vehicle itself comes well-equipped with features such as a 10.2-inch digital instrumentation display, a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless phone charging, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, power-adjustable heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, hands-free access power tailgate, parking sensors, and sustainable materials like bio-based leather seat upholstery.

Honda CR-V e:FCEV is a 5-passenger vehicle built at Honda’s Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio, making it the only fuel cell electric passenger vehicle produced in America. The vehicle uses domestic and globally-sourced parts and features the second-generation Honda Fuel Cell Module, which is produced at Fuel Cell System Manufacturing, LLC (FCSM) in Michigan.

This new fuel cell module, co-developed with General Motors, has significantly reduced costs compared to previous generations, making the CR-V e:FCEV a more affordable and sustainable option for customers. The improvements in durability, efficiency, refinement, and cost make the 2025 Honda CR-V e:FCEV an attractive choice for those looking for a clean and efficient vehicle option.
