The 2025 Ford Super Duty lineup has received some minor updates, with the most significant being the introduction of new options. The Platinum trim, which is just below the Limited trim in the Super Duty hierarchy, now offers the Platinum Plus package. This package enhances the appearance and interior of the truck, making it even more luxurious than before.

With the Platinum Plus package, the grille of the truck has a satin finish with bright chrome accents. The interior features perforated Venetian leather seats with French stitching. The package also includes Ford’s Max Recline seats, allowing the front seats to fully recline for a comfortable rest. Additionally, owners of the Platinum Plus package get a 20 percent discount on all Ford accessories for the first 90 days of ownership.

In terms of design changes for the 2025 model year, the regular Platinum trim now comes with a black-painted grille and tailgate applique, along with body-color door handles. Inside, there’s a new Black Onyx color scheme with Platinum Blue accents. Two new exterior colors, Avalanche and Ruby Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, have also been added.

The 2025 Super Duty lineup also sees the addition of the Ford Pro Vehicle Integration System 2.0, which allows for upfit accessories to be easily wired into the truck’s digital systems. This makes it simpler to control functions using overhead toggle switches and the center touchscreen. There’s also a new Trailer Technology package available, which includes blind-spot and tire-pressure monitors for the trailer.

While there are no changes to the available powertrains for the Super Duty trucks, customers can still choose between the 6.8-liter V-8, the 7.3-liter V-8, or the Power Stroke diesel 6.7-liter V-8. The diesel engine is capable of producing up to 500 horsepower and 1200 pound-feet of torque.
