Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer XPENG made a groundbreaking announcement today about their vehicle delivery results for the month of September and the third quarter of 2024. In September alone, XPENG achieved a record-breaking 21,352 Smart EV deliveries, marking a remarkable 39% increase compared to the same period last year and a 52% increase from the previous month.
Moreover, XPENG MONA M03, a new model introduced by XPENG, surpassed expectations with over 10,000 units delivered in its first month. This success contributed to XPENG’s overall delivery of 98,561 Smart EVs in the first nine months of 2024, showing a significant 21% growth from the previous year.

In addition to the impressive delivery numbers, XPENG reported a high monthly active user penetration rate of 83% in urban driving for September. The company also introduced AI Tianji XOS 5.3 to all eligible owners in China on September 25, offering 32 feature updates and 38 functional upgrades to enhance the driving experience. With advanced AI models, XPENG’s ADAS features enable smart driving on public roads, including navigating complex maneuvers like electronic toll collection, U-turns, and roundabouts.
Looking towards the future, XPENG has exciting plans in store for the upcoming months. They are set to unveil XPENG P7+, an AI-defined car, in October 2024, showcasing their cutting-edge AI technologies and applications.
