Ian Callum’s vision of a street-legal Jaguar supercar has finally come to life with the creation of the Callum C-X75. Originally designed as a concept car in 2010, the C-X75 featured a groundbreaking hybrid powertrain with four electric motors and two diesel-fed turbines. Although the production of the C-X75 never materialized, the design found its way into the 2015 James Bond film Spectre, where it was driven by a villain in a thrilling car chase through Rome.

After the film, the stunt cars used were later acquired by private collectors and now, Ian Callum’s design firm has transformed one of these C-X75s into a fully functional roadgoing supercar. This isn’t the first time Callum has worked on a C-X75 stunt car, but this latest conversion is the most comprehensive yet.

The exterior of the car has been refined with improved panel alignment, a new paint color, and luxurious details. The cabin has been completely revamped with modern technology and a mix of green and cream-colored leather. The car is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission for a balanced driving experience. The car also features active aerodynamics, a hydraulic front-lift system, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires for optimal performance on both street and track.

Inside, the C-X75 boasts a luxurious environment with high-quality materials and advanced features like wireless charging and Apple CarPlay. The digital instrument cluster and bespoke sound system add to the modern feel of the cabin.

The exact number of V-8-powered C-X75 stunt cars is a topic of debate, with reports ranging from four to seven cars. Regardless of the exact number, the green C-X75 created by Callum stands out for its elegant design, refined drivetrain, and plush interior. While the cost of the conversion remains undisclosed, it is clear that this project was a labor of love and a true passion for automotive excellence.
