Audi has recently unveiled its most powerful gas car yet, the RS Q8 Performance. This updated version of the RS Q8 features a new Performance model that boasts an impressive 631 horsepower, making it the most powerful gas model from Audi. With a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V-8 engine under the hood, this SUV can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 mph.
The RS Q8 Performance also set a new record as the fastest production SUV around the Nürburgring, completing a lap in 7 minutes and 36.69 seconds. This achievement dethroned the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT and showcased the incredible performance capabilities of the RS Q8 Performance. In addition to the Performance model, Audi will also offer a regular RS Q8 with slightly lower horsepower and torque figures.
Both models feature a range of styling updates, including a new honeycomb front grille and oval exhaust tips. The RS Q8 comes equipped with matrix LED headlights, OLED taillights, and optional 23-inch wheels. Inside, the SUV boasts perforated sport seats, Alcantara steering wheel, and recycled microfiber materials. Adaptive air suspension, active roll stabilization, and rear-wheel steering enhance the driving experience.
While pricing for the US market has not been announced yet, the RS Q8 starts at €141,900 in Germany, with the Performance model priced from €155,700. European customers can start placing orders on June 27th. With its impressive performance capabilities and luxurious features, the Audi RS Q8 and RS Q8 Performance are setting a new standard for high-performance SUVs in the market.
