I’m here in Northern Italy, getting ready to test out Maserati’s latest convertible models – the GranCabrio Trofeo and GranCabrio Folgore electric convertible. These two cars may look alike, but they offer unique driving experiences that I can’t wait to explore. Before I take them out for a spin, I want to hear from you. What burning questions do you have about the GranCabrio Trofeo and Folgore EV? What details are you curious about as I take these Italian beauties for a drive around Da Boot? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

Let’s start with some basic information about each car. First up is the GranCabrio Trofeo. This car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 engine that produces 542 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. Paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, this car can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 196 mph. The luxury interior features rich leather and high-quality buttons, promising a comfortable and exhilarating driving experience.

On the other hand, the GranCabrio Folgore takes a different approach with three electric motors – one in the front and two in the back. With a total output of 818 horsepower (with overboost) and 996 lb-ft of torque, this electric convertible is no slouch. It’s equipped with a 92.5-kWh battery, with 83 kWh of usable capacity, and can DC fast charge thanks to its 800V architecture. If you have the courage, it can reach a top speed of 180 mph, providing an electrifying driving experience unlike any other.

Both of these cars promise an exciting drive, but I want to make sure I cover all your burning questions. So, before I hit the road, let me know what you want to learn about these stunning convertibles.
