Audi has recently introduced the A6 Sportback E-Tron and the S6 Sportback E-Tron, expanding their electric vehicle lineup. The A6 Sportback E-Tron is built on the PPE platform, shared with the Macan Electric and comes in both RWD and Quattro AWD versions. The RWD model has a single electric motor with 362 horsepower, while the Quattro version has a combined output of 422 horsepower. The S6 Sportback E-Tron is even more powerful with 496 horsepower, reaching 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.

Both versions use a 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack, with the RWD A6 Sportback E-Tron offering over 750 kilometers of range, and the S6 Sportback E-Tron estimated at 398 miles. The charging specs are impressive with a maximum speed of 270 kilowatts, allowing for a 10-80% charge in just 21 minutes. For home charging, options of 22 kW AC charging and 11 kW charging will be available.

In terms of design, the A6 Sportback E-Tron features smooth and clean lines with a grille design similar to the Q6 E-Tron. The car is equipped with OLED front and rear lights and comes with advanced tech features like a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment display, 11.9-inch digital cluster, and new augmented reality head-up display. The cabin also boasts a 20-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system and an optional smart panoramic glass roof.

The A6 and S6 Sportback E-Tron models are expected to go on sale in the U.S. by spring/summer 2025, offering an optional adaptive air suspension system and variable torque distribution. However, the Avant versions unveiled in Europe will not be available in the U.S. market. Overall, Audi’s new electric vehicles promise a blend of performance, range, and innovative technology for a futuristic driving experience.
