In 2025, Chevrolet is expanding its Silverado EV lineup with the introduction of the LT trim. This new model starts at $75,195, which is significantly lower than last year’s RST model, making it more accessible to a wider range of customers. Additionally, the LT model will be eligible for a $7500 federal tax credit, further reducing the cost for buyers.
The Silverado EV LT comes equipped with dual electric motors that provide all-wheel drive and impressive power – up to 645 horsepower and 765 pound-feet of torque. With a single battery option, the LT has an EPA-estimated range of 408 miles, but opting for the LT Premium package slightly reduces that to 390 miles. This package includes larger wheels, the Mutli-Flex Midgate, and GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving mode.
On the other hand, the RST model now offers two battery options – Extended and Max range. The Extended pack helps lower the base price to $89,395, with a range of 390 miles. The Max pack, priced at $97,895, offers a range of 460 miles. The fleet-focused Work Truck has also been updated for 2025, offering three battery sizes, with the largest one providing up to 492 miles of range – an increase of 42 miles from before.
Chevrolet has announced that most of the 2025 Silverado EV lineup will be available later this year, with the Work Truck and the smallest battery option launching next year for both fleet and retail customers. This expansion of the Silverado EV lineup reflects Chevrolet’s commitment to providing a wide range of options for electric vehicle buyers, catering to different needs and preferences.
