Mercedes-AMG has given us a sneak peek into the future with the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 S E Performance. This new model looks very similar to the regular GT63, with only a few subtle differences like some writing on the badge and the charge port door on the rear bumper.

Under the hood, the E Performance boasts a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine, producing 603 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, there is an electric drive unit at the rear axle, featuring a motor with 201 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, a two-speed transmission, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, an inverter, and a 4.8-kWh liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery pack.

The electric motor can deliver full power for short bursts of 10 seconds before settling into 94-horsepower increments for 60-second intervals. When combined with the engine, the E Performance churns out a whopping 805 horsepower and 1047 pound-feet of torque, which is sent to all four wheels.

Mercedes notes that the additional electric components add nearly 500 pounds to the car’s weight, bringing it to around 4800 pounds. To handle this power and weight, the GT63 S E Performance is equipped with monster 16.5-inch carbon-ceramic rotors with six-piston calipers in the front and 15.0-inch units with single-piston calipers in the rear.

With Race Start activated, the GT63 S E Performance can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 199 mph. For the daring drivers out there, there is a Drift Mode that disconnects the front axle, allowing all 805 horses to be sent to the rear tires.

Overall, the 2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 S E Performance promises an exhilarating driving experience with its powerful engine and electric motor combination. The sleek design and advanced technology make it a standout in the world of performance vehicles. Keep an eye out for this futuristic model hitting the roads in the near future.
