Alfa Romeo has unveiled special Super Sport editions of its Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models, each priced at £82,815 and £91,835. These limited edition vehicles pay tribute to the brand’s first victory at the Mille Miglia in 1928 and feature an all-black color scheme with unique interior details.

The Super Sport models are based on the updated Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio variants and come with black design elements and badging, such as darkened four-leaf clover emblems, black brake calipers, and carbon fiber trim. The mirror caps and front grille surround are finished in carbon fiber, and the Giulia offers an optional exposed carbon roof. Both models sit on Alfa’s signature horseshoe-style alloys, with the Giulia sporting 19-inch wheels and the Stelvio equipped with 21-inch wheels.

Inside, the Super Sport editions boast red ‘3D’ carbon fiber inserts on the center console, dashboard, and door cards, along with embroidered red Super Sport logos on the seats. Other interior features include a 12.3-inch instrument pack, a carbon and alcantara steering wheel, and aluminum gearshift paddles, all reminiscent of the standard Quadrifoglio models.

Under the hood, both the Giulia and Stelvio Super Sport models are powered by a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 513bhp. An important upgrade is the mechanical limited-slip differential, replacing the previous electronically controlled unit, resulting in more consistent and progressive handling. The powertrain is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and a carbon prop shaft, with the Stelvio featuring all-wheel drive.

Alfa Romeo plans to produce a total of 450 Super Sport models, with 275 Giulias and 175 Stelvios. The special editions come at a premium of £4,500 over the standard Quadrifoglio models. The Super Sport editions offer enthusiasts the opportunity to own a piece of Alfa Romeo’s racing history while enjoying enhanced performance and exclusive design elements.

In the competitive landscape of high-performance vehicles, the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Super Sport editions stand out as a blend of Italian craftsmanship, racing heritage, and modern technology. With a limited production run and unique features, these special models are sure to attract attention from automotive enthusiasts and collectors alike.
