Ford has introduced a new beast to the racing world, the Ford Raptor T1+. This is not your typical Ford F-150 or Ranger; it is a purpose-built race truck designed to dominate the Dakar rally. Partnering with M-Sport LTD, Ford has created a formidable machine that is sure to turn heads.
The Raptor T1+ boasts an impressive double-wishbone suspension with over 13 inches of travel on both the front and rear. Equipped with three-way adjustable Fox coilovers on each corner, this truck is designed to handle the toughest terrains. The 37-inch tires mounted on 17-inch wheels, along with the 14-inch brakes and six-piston calipers, ensure superior performance.
Constructed on a spaceframe chassis made of T45 steel, the Raptor T1+ features a lightweight carbon fiber body, resulting in a curb weight of 4,431 pounds. With nearly 16 inches of ground clearance and a steep approach angle of 70 degrees, this truck is built to tackle any obstacle that comes its way.
Under the hood, Ford has installed a powerful 5.0-liter Coyote-based engine with a dry-sump oil system and a tuned exhaust.
