These points are equivalent to £500 worth of groceries at Tesco, or £1,000 to spend with Clubcard Reward Partners such as Pizza Express. This deal is quite cheesy, but in a good way. In addition to the Clubcard points, Vauxhall is offering one year of free charging at Tesco stores for those who buy one of their electric vehicles (EVs).
Tesco has a vast network of charge points across the country, making it the largest charging network of any retailer in the UK. This network includes a variety of charging stations with different power levels. Vauxhall’s managing director, James Taylor, expressed his dedication to helping drivers transition to electric vehicles and hopes that this offering, along with their latest PCP deals on electric models like the Corsa Electric Yes Edition and Mokka Electric Griffin, will encourage more motorists to experience the benefits of EVs.
For example, the Corsa Yes Edition is available on a five-year Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) for £264 per month with a customer deposit of £2,000. Vauxhall also provides a deposit contribution of £840 and an ‘Electric Bonus’ that further reduces the price by £3,800. This deal includes an annual mileage allowance of 6,000 miles, a low APR of 2.9%, and the option to return the car at the end of the agreement or pay £7,449 to own it.
The Corsa Yes Edition boasts a range of up to 221 miles with a 50kWh battery and 134bhp electric motor. It comes equipped with features like a 10-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic LED headlights, and safety features such as cruise control and lane keep assist.
