The 2024 Ford F-150 has received a new version from Shelby, with a starting price of $130,000. However, this price does not include any engine modifications. For an additional $9,995, totaling $139,995, you can upgrade to the Shelby F-150 R, which offers more power than the F-150 Raptor R. This upgrade includes a Ford Performance supercharger kit that boosts the 5.0-liter V-8 engine to 785 horsepower. The supercharger kit also includes upgraded fuel injectors, a carbon intake, and a Borla exhaust system. Without the supercharger, the base 5.0 engine only produces 400 horsepower.
In addition to the engine upgrades, the Shelby F-150 R comes with mechanical enhancements such as Fox 2.5 shocks with internal bypass technology, a three-inch lift, adjustable dual speed controls, and performance rear traction bars. The truck also features 22-inch wheels with 35-inch all-terrain tires, body-colored fender flares, a new lower bumper cover, a dual-intake hood with vents, and a Shelby grille with a snake badge. Paint color options such as Rapid Red ($495) and Star White Metallic ($995) are also available. Production of this model is limited to 800 trucks, set to be released later this summer.
