Toyota is making some changes to its lineup to streamline its offerings. After dropping the “Prime” name from some of its models, Toyota has now decided to simplify the trim structure for the 2025 Land Cruiser. This decision is part of cost-cutting measures to make the lineup more efficient.

Starting at $57,900, the 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser comes with a slight price increase compared to last year. The First Edition model is no longer available, and customers can now choose between the 1958 trim or the standard Land Cruiser trim. The 1958 model retains its retro design, featuring rounded LED headlights, a classic “TOYOTA” heritage grille, and basic cloth seats. It also comes with an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Moving up to the standard Land Cruiser trim, customers will find slim rectangular LED headlights, faux leather seats, and dual 12.3-inch screens. For an additional cost, there is a Premium package available that includes 20-inch wheels, a 14-speaker JBL audio system, a head-up display, wireless charging, and more for $5,840.

Both versions of the 2025 Land Cruiser are equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder I-Force Max hybrid powertrain producing 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. This is paired with standard four-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Despite its power, the Land Cruiser can achieve up to 23 miles per gallon combined, making it a relatively fuel-efficient option in the SUV market.

New features for the 2025 Land Cruiser include an integrated liftgate for improved visibility in the cargo area at night and a new monotone Heritage Blue paint option for the standard trim. These updates, along with the simplification of the trim structure, aim to provide customers with a more straightforward and cost-effective purchasing process.

The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser is set to arrive at dealerships later this fall, giving customers a chance to experience the new changes firsthand. With its blend of retro design elements and modern technology, the Land Cruiser continues to be a popular choice for off-road enthusiasts and everyday drivers alike.
