Two individuals in Canada have found themselves in hot water after a high-speed chase involving a Lamborghini Urus. The driver of the luxury SUV was caught exceeding 200km/h on Highway 407 in Vaughan, just north of Toronto, on July 7, 2024. The police attempted to stop the vehicle in a residential area, but the driver refused to comply and drove off, even hitting a tyre deflation device.

In a dramatic video captured by a police helicopter, the driver can be seen continuing to drive despite one of the tyres being punctured. As the chase progressed, the front right tyre of the Lamborghini Urus eventually separated from the vehicle, causing sparks to fly as it rolled off to the side.

Despite losing a tyre, the driver did not stop and maintained speeds of around 140-150km/h. The luxury SUV eventually pulled over in an industrial area, where the driver tried to flee the scene in another car belonging to an accomplice. The second vehicle attempted to escape as well, running over an officer’s foot in the process before being apprehended.

The two suspects have since been charged with multiple offenses, including dangerous operation of a vehicle, fleeing from a peace officer, failing to stop after an accident, and assault on a peace officer with a weapon. The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of reckless driving and attempting to evade law enforcement.
