The problem stems from the front brake hoses on the affected vehicles, which can develop cracks and leak fluid. This can occur due to stress at the point of minimum bending radius, potentially causing damage to the hoses’ inner fabric liner. To address the problem, Porsche will be replacing the front brake hoses in the affected Taycan vehicles free of charge. The new hoses have an increased bending radius and were implemented in production starting May 13, 2024. Vehicles built after this date already have the updated hoses installed.
